Yeah, this cover is truly AMAZING!! The deign is a VERY creative one! It connects with the title PERFECTLY.

I like your comment about "how the flowers are ready to fall and to get to the lost". Very well said!! :)

I, too, have heard that this books is a great read!

    1. Hi, Verushka!

Oh, YEAH!!! I think this one is my favorite of he six. I was SO disappointed when the second novel did not have a cover that matched the beauty of this one.....

My second choice would be "Ash and Quill".

Thanks for the comment!! GOOD LUCK!!! <3 :)

  4. Hiii ! Like I said, I'm here ahah. This is going to be longer than my other post but I still hope it will be understandable (even with the typos)

To be honest, my favourite cover (out of the 6 ones) is the cover of Ten Thousand skies above you. When I first saw the cover of the first book (this one is the second book, right ?), I just love the style (like water painting I guess ?)and the harmony of the colors. But I haven't read it yet, I've checked the synop' and some comments and I don't remember the reason why I got deterred.

Since I haven't read the first book, having the second book is not a good idea xD So... I'd love to get "Letters to the lost". The cover design is quite original (at least, it's the first time I saw flowers with petals with words). And I think, it fits well with the title (it gives the right impression/atmosphere). Actually, I guess, the cover is quite simple (more than Ten Thousand skies for example) but it feels... nostalgic/melancholic (quite hard to grasp the feeling)

PS 1 : I don't really like the "Cleo" cover, not my style at all
PS 2 : One of my favourite covers ever is the covers for the Shatter me series (Mafi Tahereh)

    1. Hi, Sandrine!

Oh, I LOVE that one, too!! All three covers of the Firebird series are actually AMAZING. And yes, they do look like watercolor paintings.

Of course, since you haven't read the first novel in this series, I can see why you would choose another of the five covers shown here. But you know what? I would be more than happy to send you the first book, "A Thousand Pieces of You", if you were the winner! No problem at all! :) :) :)

I agree -- the cover design for "Letters to the Lost" is very original. It goes PERFECTLY with the title! And I also agree about the nostalgic/melancholic feeling. You've hit the nail on the head!! :)

As for the "Cleo" cover, there is one little detail I don't like: the three lines of text placed underneath the eye, on the right-hand side of the cover. If these lines had not been placed there, I think the design would REALLY stand out!

I've seen the covers for the Shatter Me series. They are indeed quite striking!

      Thanks for the WONDERFUL comment!! GOOD LUCK!! <3 <3 <3 :) :) :)

    2. Thanks and thanks (but if I'm that lucky, I'll really start to worry xD I'm usually the bad luck type xD)

Hum, for "Cleo" cover, I'm more bothered with the "Cleo" title in red than the three lines of text. It just stands out too much in my opinion and takes too much space (well, it's the title but... xD)

Yep, I just hope the fourth book's cover of the Shatter Me series is gonna be related to Summer *-*

    3. Hi, again!

Well, you never know! And don't think that you're "the bad luck type"! That's negative thinking. (And I do the very same thing, lol. I have to work on that, too!)

About the "Cleo" cover -- you do have a good point about the title. I don't like that script, or whatever you can call it. You're right that it stands out too much! And it's a bit tacky, too. They made it red because it's supposed to represent the character's mouth, I guess.

I would now say that BOTH the title and the three lines of text bother me! Lol. It's too bad, too, because the rest of the cover ROCKS!

Oh, there's a fourth book being published, in the Shatter Me series? Thanks for letting me know! Gotta look into that!!

Than you SO much for coming back to comment again!! Hope you're having a GREAT day!! <3 <3 <3 :) :) :)

    4. I actually have proofs of that bad luck when it comes to my exams xD It's sometimes so sad it becomes funny xD

"tacky", exactly ! Red for the mouth seems to be a right guess =p Yeah loool

YEP, the fourth book will be released next year !! The author just announced it this year (1-3 months ago). I thought I was dreaming but it was real xD In fact, if I'm not wrong, it's going to be another trilogy for this series *-*

No problem ^^ I'm going to stick around I guess x)

  6. This is a really difficult choice. Several of these covers are impressive. If forced to choose, I would say the cover for Rebel of the Sands. The colors work very well together. The design is fairly simple. Combined, the understatement is very impressive.

    Thanks for hosting the giveaway.

    Have a great weekend!

I think my favorite cover is definitely "Rebel of the Sands". However, I also LOVE "Ten Thousand Skies Above You" and "Ash and Quill". If I were entering this giveaway, though, I would pick one of the other two books, as I already own "Rebel of the Sands". Yes, the design of this cover is pretty simple, as well as bold. And OH, THE BLUE!!!!!

I love the cover of Wink Poppy Midnight as well! I've had my eye on that one, but haven't yet picked it up. I love the overall tone of that cover, and the text that flies to the edges of the cover is a lovely touch!

  10. Ohh, I'm love with Rebel of the Sands <3 Ever since... ever? I think I saw the cover on January and immediately added the book to my wishlist. I know, it may sound strange, but I can /hear/ the book from the cover? Like, I'm instantly transported to the story thanks to it. The colors, the illustration, it's just too beautiful. And everything with stars on the cover is A+, to me, so far, so, yeah.

  11. Hi Maria! How are you doing? I hope you're great!

All covers have something striking and unique but my favourite is "Wink. Poppy. Midnight" cause I think the beauty is in the small details like the different types of flowers, the sword, the snake, etc. The combination of these small colourful elements on a black background give the cover a mysterious touch and the letters, being white, stand out over the rest.

Thanks again for another beautiful and amazing giveaway, mainly because it is international :)

    Take care, XOXO

Oh, I LOVE this cover, too! My absolute favorite is "Rebel of the Sands", but it's SO hard to choose, really!!

The reason I picked "Wink, Poppy, Midnight" is because it IS so BEAUTIFUL. I LOVE all the details you mention, too! And the dark background....of course!! As you can see from this blog, I LOVE dark backgrounds and white text!

You're very welcome for the giveaway!! And I usually host international giveaways, because I want ALL of my readers to be included!! <3 <3

  12. These are all such BEAUTIFUL covers!! It's so hard to pick just one, but we can narrow it down to Rebel of the Sands, Ten Thousand Skies Above You, Ash and Quill, and Letters to the Lost... see, we've narrowed it down to four out of six -- aren't you proud of us? Lol. But if we HAVE to pick one -- Letters to the Lost. It's the writing on the flowers that gets us. It just speaks to us! Thank you so much for this amazing, generous giveaway and for sharing these gorgeous covers, Maria! Wonderful post! *BIG SMOOSHY HUGS* <3 <3 <3

Well, I see that you've decided on one of these. The last cover, "Letters to the Lost", is a very unique, cleverly-designed cover. While not my favorite, I can appreciate the sheer GENIUS of the idea, as it matches PERFECTLY with the title of this novel! I'm glad it really speaks to you guys!!

You're very much welcome for this giveaway! As you both know, I'm a HUGE fan of GORGEOUS covers!! <3 <3

  13. Hi again, María! How are you? =D

First of all, can I just thank you for hosting these lovely giveaways? Bookworms sometimes buy books based on the covers they have, and reading posts that feature how beautiful certain covers are is amazing! What's more, if we have the chance to win that book, then yaaaaaaaaaaaay! F-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c ^^
Now, let's talk about these covers. I would have gone for Wink.Poppy.Midnight, but I already have it. I LOVE the art it has. Like I said before, I fall for covers with flowers, leaves and other nature-related things - I love the owl and the snake! And even though it has many beautiful items on the design, I think it's the black background that makes the whole picture look kind of creepy and dark - I've read the story itself is weird, twisted and kind of dark.
But for this giveaway, I'd DIE for a copy of "Rebel of the sands" ♥ I think the story is very interesting, but the cover... For me, it would be a total cover buy! I love the colors and the font used, and the desert on the background is just magical. It fits perfectly with the story :)

¡Gracias por un nuevo sorteo, María! Un abrazo grande, y espero que estés muy bien ^^

    1. ¡Hola, Antonela!

Sorry for the late comment back..... :(

You're very welcome for the giveaways!! I just thought I'd do something a little different regarding giveaways from time to time. And I think the idea of letting people choose their favorite book cover is a GREAT one, right? :)

Yea, I'm one of those bookworms that chooses a book based on the cover! Lol. If a book has an ugly cover, I'm just not interested in it, unless, of course, the plot is SO AMAZING that I just NEED to get the book! But I have sometimes bought a more expensive edition of a book I want to read, just because the cover is GORGEOUS, EVEN if a cheaper edition, but with an UGLY cover, was available. LOL. So yeah, beautiful covers mean A LOT to me!!

Oh, I ADORE covers that feature flowers, trees, and other nature-related motifs, too!! And yes, I LOVE the cover of "Wink Poppy Midnight, too!! And you're right -- the dark background makes it look a little creepy. Thanks for letting me know that the story is kind of dark and weird! I think I'll stay away from it now, lol.

You know, I think the cover of "Rebel of the Sands" is my favorite one! And the story is very interesting, from what I read in the plot synopsis. And yes, that cover is magical, and is PERFECT for the story!! I'm SO glad you love this cover just as much as I do!!

¡De nada, Antonela! ¡Un gran abrazo para tí, también! Me imagino que hay frío por allá, ¿verdad? ¡Ojalá pudiera ir a visitarte! <3 <3 <3 :) :) :)
